In 2024, the Digital Rights Foundation (DRF) continued its mission to advance digital rights, online freedoms, and digital literacy across South Asia and the Global Majority. This Annual Report hence captures a year of progress, resilience, and impact in our ongoing mission to create a safer, more inclusive digital landscape.

From addressing pressing digital rights challenges to amplifying critical conversations on AI governance, data privacy, and online freedoms, our work has remained at the forefront of change. We worked to amplify voices historically excluded from global digital policy discussions through research-based advocacy and cross-border collaborations. Our initiatives also empowered individuals—especially women, journalists, and human rights defenders—with the knowledge and tools to safely navigate digital spaces and assert their rights online.

As we move forward, DRF remains committed to building an equitable digital future that prioritizes accessibility, safety, and justice for all.
